Commonwealth Financial Network® partners with Forefield, Inc. to provide advisors customized newsletter service
As the latest addition to the firm’s wealth management program, Commonwealth will provide the service at a 75-percent discount from Forefield’s subscription rate
Press Release, May 5, 2007
Waltham, Mass. (May 15, 2007)— Commonwealth Financial Network® has partnered with Forefield, Inc. to provide its advisors customizable wealth management newsletters to share with existing and prospective clients. As the latest addition to the firm’s wealth management program, Commonwealth will provide the service at a 75-percent discount from Forefield’s subscription rate.
"A well-written, topical newsletter is an effective, low-cost way to market to prospects, stay in touch with existing clients, and to maintain strategic partnerships with other professionals,” said Scott Schutte, Commonwealth’s director of wealth management, marketing. “We’ve found that the most successful advisors at Commonwealth are very proactive with client communication."
Advisors are provided the option to select from among a wide variety of FINRA-approved Wealth Management articles to create each newsletter, including topics such as retirement income planning, wealth transfer, and insurance planning. Articles will cover issues such as online banking, covering your child’s health care at college, preparing for a hurricane, and taking your pet on vacation.
"Since wealth management is so expansive, it can be challenging to address all the dominant needs within the beginning of a client relationship, where as the newsletter will constantly introduce ideas and talking points,” said Schutte. “We expect the newsletter will inform clients about topics they may not have considered in their initial plan and will stimulate discussion between clients and advisors."
Each newsletter can be customized with an advisor's proprietary content and branding, such as logo and color scheme. Newsletters can be distributed via e-mail, website, or standard mail. Advisors may create as many or as few newsletter and they choose.
